DS Automobiles lights up filming the Coperni show at Paris Fashion Week

Thirty-six #ds models in front of Coperni’s designs
After creating an event last year that was the highest show in the history of #parisfashionweek on the roof of the Montparnasse Tower, #coperni has done it again by taking over the Accor Hotels Arena. Part of the set design was entrusted to #ds Automobiles with thirty-six zero-emissions #ds #7crossbacketense and #ds #3crossbacketense models. Used to bring the attendees to the secret location, they were arranged on either side of the catwalk to light the show.
An award-winning designer
A legacy of Nicolaus Copernicus, the astronomer who came up with the concept of heliocentrism, the name #coperni brings values to life that are also dear to #ds Automobiles: progress, innovation and science. Created in 2013, #coperni won an ANDAM award for its debut collection and was then a finalist for the first-ever LVMH Prize. Its founders #sebastienmeyer and Arnaud Vaillant have also worked for Balenciaga, Chanel and Courrèges.
The most powerful lighting
A distinctive part of #ds design, projecter headlamps are a combination of advanced technologies. The #ds MATRIX LED VISION system on #ds 3 CROSSBACK lets you drive at night as if it was daytime without ever dazzling other road users thanks to 15 sections that illuminate independently depending on conditions. #ds 7 CROSSBACK’s #ds ACTIVE LED VISION includes seven lighting modes adapted to every situation, including the iconic “rotating headlamp” function that illuminates the road by following the angle of the steering wheel.
Coperni’s expertise on the catwalk and #ds Automobiles expertise in cockpits
The 70 attendees were ushered into the #ds #7crossbacketense and #ds #3crossbacketense models while still respecting protective health measures. They could then enjoy #ds comfort thanks to materials that are very special for the cars’ respective segments such as nappa leather and Alcantara® as well as leading acoustic quality.
Night is an experience, by Coperni
Coperni’s AH21 collection is an exploration into the complexity of night, a mysterious phase that’s sometimes shadowy, sometimes starlit. The night of partying, seduction and diving into the unknown is very different to the night of sleep, resting the body and dreams.
Clean and dynamic cuts in a classic suit let you catch a glimpse of bare flesh. The shoulders are lifted, arms are slim, ready to step into the night. A sensuality born out of playing with zipped-up materials. The skin-tight mesh that counters the movement of the fringes. A bag in the shape of a padlock suggests the mystery of that night. Enveloping shapes steer us towards healing, reconciliation and time for ourselves. Fabrics protect the body. Light becomes therapy.
