adidas Originals presents a brand new take on the #climacool silhouette for May, adorning the shoe’s aggressive, 21st century aesthetic with an appropriately striking color palette.
Retaining the original material-way that gives the shoe its name, the latest release features a full #climacool mesh upper providing 360° breathability, countered by the shoe’s structural TPU toebox and midfoot overlays and a textile lining for a comfortable fit. Two new colorways then present different approaches to the retro footwear aesthetic; a pure white iteration with a gum rubber outsole references classic casual footwear design, whilst a striking bright cyan edition brings the bold aesthetic of late 80s runners to the fore. The result is a release that celebrates iconic footwear design using the most iconic 3-stripes silhouette of the early 2000s as its canvas.
