Chandler Burr with the Installation-Event: “Oggetti d'arte. Forma, colore, profumo” - Art objects. Shape, color and scent

For Chandler Burr, perfume not only has a strong bond with art, it is art. By comparing 15 scents with 15 masterpieces of painting, sculpture and architecture, Chandler Burr – one of the fragrance world’s top experts, writer, perfume critic for the New York Times and curator of the exhibition “The Art of Scent: 18892012” at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York – and a steady participant in our fair, will present a special projectinstallation he created just for Pitti Fragranze. Setdesign curated by Alessandro Moradei. A dialogue between Chandler Burr and the art critic Francesco Bonami about olfactive art and visual art, parallelism and matches will be held on September 12 (2.30pm – 3.30pm), and the installation is open every day (September 11–13, 10.00am_6.00pm)
