Pitti Bimbo Children's Fashion From Spain
In a fashion show organised by ICEX and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Milan in coordination with ASEPRI, the Spanish brands Barcarola, Bóboli, CND by Cóndor, Desigual, Losan, Mayoral, Pan con Chocolate and Tuc bring to the catwalk original, cheerful, colourful, high-quality garments rich in style and elegance, designed to be comfortable for even the smallest wearers, but without forgetting the latest trends. The event takes place on 25 June at 12 pm in the Sala del Rondino in the Fortezza da Basso.
Children’s Fashion from Spain takes us on a trip back in time to the roaring '50s, to an American diner with its typical neon sign. When school is out, young girls gather around a plate of pancakes and strawberry, pistachio, banana and chocolate milkshakes, waiting for a boy from the rugby club to put their favourite song on the jukebox or looking out for the arrival of the “bad boys” with their sky-high, slicked-back quiffs.
It could be a scene from Grease, but this is the nod to the ’50s given by children’s fashion from Spain for spring-summer 2016. We find skirts with frills, high-waisted shorts and capri pants for girls, cigarette pants, Bermuda shorts, polo shirts, short-sleeved shirts, knitted and leather jackets, T-shirts, jeans and sneakers for boys... the perfect representation of a cheerful, carefree, colourful summer brimming with unforgettable experiences.
