W Paris - Opéra has partnered with renowned French designer, Thierry Lasry, to create limited-edition sunglasses for men and women. Lasry revisited his iconic Sexxxy and Authority models to create two exclusive designs which are entirely hand-made in France with the best craftsmanship techniques and traditional know-how. The women’s pair incorporates gold sparkles and embellishments that are reminiscent of the “spark” motif that runs throughout the hotel, while the men’s version brings to mind the classical Haussmann style of W Paris – Opéra’s facade. “I am delighted to partner with the innovative W Hotels brand here in my home country, as we share the same passion for design and fashion,” said Lasry. “Inspired by the energy of W Paris - Opéra and its incredible location in the beating heart of Paris, I wanted to introduce two exclusive colours into two of the most prominent styles in my collection. This project reflects the dynamic fusion of Paris and New York, the two cities that lie at the heart of the THIERRY LASRY brand.” The limited edition sunglasses are available for purchase at W Paris - Opéra for €350, as well as an exclusive amenity for guests staying in an Extreme WOW (W brand’s take on the Presidential Suite) at the hotel. To celebrate the partnership, the mixologists at W Paris - Opéra have created a luscious “Sexxxy by THIERRY LASRY” cocktail, combining St. Germain liqueur, champagne, tonic water, grapefruit bitter and edible flowers. This is available at W Lounge for €15. The “Suite Wonder - Thierry Lasry” package starts from €1,470 per night and is available from 2 June to 31 December 2015.
