Kobe Bryant soared over a car in a viral film playing on the shoe’s minimal weight, while athletes, commentators, designers and sneakerheads marveled at the Hyperdunk’s futuristic, bold aesthetic. Designed by Eric Avar, the original 2008 Nike Hyperdunk seamlessly fused form and function in a design many thought was years ahead of its time. When introduced, the avant garde silhouette drew
