FILA Reconstructs Its Style Legacy in the New Global SS24 Collection at Pitti Uomo

In the 1970s, FILA’s pioneering designer Pierluigi Rolando launched colour and style onto the courts with the WHITE LINE collection. This clean, geometric look, embellished with our iconic F-BOX logo, was picked up by the greats of the Golden Age of #tennis. At this year’s #pittiuomo in Florence, Italy, #fila takes inspiration from this history-making collection and brings its unique attitude to a new generation.

Displayed in a minimalist white pavilion that echoes FILA’s F-BOX logo - this year celebrating its 50th anniversary -  this special preview of the Global SS24 collection channels the iconic WHITE LINE look by mixing vintage accents with a strong contemporary spirit.

From polo shirts to pleated skirts and the unmistakable Settanta jacket, #fila introduces streetwear staples such as hooded sweatshirts, crew neck jumpers, jumpsuits and tracksuits. All-over racket prints, asymmetries and piped details create graphic movement. The shapes combine #tennis silhouettes with the volumes and textiles of running, creating a hybrid language in which a blue, red and green palette gives a classic look and the technical fabrics add performance and dynamism. Large pockets and drawstring waists acknowledge FILA’s groundbreaking, technical finesse in other outdoor disciplines, such as mountaineering.

This reconstructive approach pushes the classic #fila aesthetic into the moment and celebrates the brand’s pivotal role at the juncture of sport, elegance and #fashion.
