The cosmetic industry is paying more attention to #safety, environmental sustainability and support local production. This is what emerged from the CosmoTrends report, produced by the global #beauty trend forecasting agency BEAUTYSTREAMS. The report highlighted the changes in consumer habits and identified the key trends alongside the most notable brands and products of the #cosmoprofasiadigitalweek 2021.

According to BEAUTYSTREAMS, leading the development of the Asia-Pacific market will be products that are safe for the skin and highly performing, using ingredients linked to local traditions and culture, and with certified production processes with reduced
environmental impact.

This year, five major trends take centre stage. They are: Asian Efficacy, #safety is Asia’s Clean, Self-Optimization, #beauty Chameleons, Eco-Ethical.
