Kir Khartley represents the new "Sabbath collection"

February 6th, 2021, Ukrainian #fashion Week – Kirill Kharitontsev, designer of the #kirkhartley brand, presents his new collection ‘Sabbath’, dedicated to the mystification and search for energy in the netherworld.

Mood/Style: the new #kirkhartley collection is a designer's storytelling about otherworldly forces, humankind beliefs since ancient times. This is all about the hidden potential of a person. After all, powerful energy is hidden in each of us, and the world is full of invisible singularities, to the understanding of which the path of secret knowledge leads. The designer is inspired by the belief in the ephemeral and expresses the aesthetics of mystery in his collection. ‘This season is marked by hoaxes and the search for energy in the other world. I am inspired by the power of female intuition and magic’, says Kirill Kharitontsev.

Key pieces: architecturally, the collection is built of four blocks. Masculine inside-out suits; two-piece suits; aggressively sexy looks (with trousers with high slits, decorated tops made of pins and mirrors, dresses and skirts made of mirrors and pins, corsets on a transparent mesh), as well as casual items (color-blocking trench coats, hybrids of a shirt and T-shirt, masculine-tailored jackets). Traditionally, collection will include various interpretations of shirts. 

Colors: the palette is based on a mysterious black, with accents of beige, white, gray and silver shades. 

Materials: costume wool with a soft sheen, mesh, cotton, knitwear, heavy cotton, raincoat fabric.

Shapes: oversized straight-cut suits, bell-bottomed trousers, stylish hybrids of a shirt and a T-shirt, semi-adjacent suits with shoulder decoration in the ‘40s style, straight trench coats with a low shoulder line, corsets. Details: fine decor of pins, rings and mirror plates, which makes items look even more mysterious.
