Introducing Jenny Packham's AW21 Pre Collection
''Challenged by creating yet another collection where I would be deprived of the type of inspirational journey I love to follow by travelling, museum trawling and vintage shopping, this season we looked back to the Golden Age of Hollywood which was so conveniently available - at our finger tips. Just by googling 'leading ladies' images of the most iconic women of the last century, dressed in sensational gowns popped up and inspiration fell into our laps.
Jane Russell, Veronica Lake, Lauren Bacall, Josephine Baker, Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly and more, dazzled from the past, brightening the present with their timeless beauty and aesthetic perfection.
We indulged ourselves by sourcing their favourite colours and silhouettes and sketching new and playful designs for our muses, creating a collection of whimsical gowns to be worn on dreamy days in the not so distant future and in the process, we discovered that in this temporarily restricted new world it is our imagination that grants us the freedom we desire.''
