At the January edition of Pitti Uomo, #a.testoni will be presenting the new Fall/Winter collection, inspired by Italian craftsmanship at its finest. This is an ever-evolving story of style, in which the past blends with the future to shape the vigorous soul of a brand ever-ready to march on through the world of #fashion. Geometric patterns mix with the hues of “Bologna la rossa” (Red Bologna) to create a mood in which opposing materials coexist in perfect harmony to bring a modern, forward-looking twist to the #a.testoni man’s look.
Contemporary style increasingly blurs the borders between formal and sporty, cutting-edge and retro, Italian and cosmopolitan, and the new collection is a sublime expression of the hybrid, innovative power of our time.
Amedeo Testoni
The brand’s top line has opted for a change of shapes, opening the door to more rounded shapes, taking a step beyond the timeless elegance of English style. The sophisticated delavé calfskin combat boot is an emblematic model of the collection: where formal elegance gives way to an elegant hiking style par #excellence, marking the end of a time when luxury was incompatible with a casual look. These new concepts are the perfect partner for the shell bag, with its soft hand-edged deerskin exterior concealing a PC case in tweed inside. The interior can be removed to offer two different accessories, for a design that’s versatile as well as luxurious.
Black Label
A rigorous business-like look is made up of perfect details such as the beautifully simple, clean-cut, T-shaped maxi Filettone that appears on Derby shoes, ankle boots and slip-ons.
The stitch and turn technique gives the shoes a simply smooth, flawless appearance, with no visible seams, for a look reminiscent of the most modern supercars: impeccable on the outside and supremely comfortable on the inside.
The slim PC case and the clutch bag are in saffiano calfskin leather, with asphalt grey and black “Never ending T” patterns for a modern, aggressive, ultra-light look.
New Studium
A line with strong volumes, featuring a blend of opposing materials and alternating prints, patterns and nuances. Sneakers make increasing inroads into more formal looks, while classic footwear hovers over style boundaries, with hybrid models offering the perfect expression of modern design.
Classic models are higher than ever, and beatles boots, slip-ons and Derby shoes amplify volumes with platform soles. The welts break up the compact appearance of the nappa calfskin, forming a hexagon pattern. This breakaway from the norm is crafted with sublime accuracy and clean-cut style, shaping a sophisticated urban allure.
Material contrasts also feature greased suede and rubber-coated leather, brighter than ever in the Bologna Red Derby shoe.
Camouflage patterns on tank soles, brilliant colours beneath rubber-coated effects: the brushed calfskin moccasins take on new volumes and colours and make their way towards a contemporary, metropolitan look.
The sneakers blend with the New Studium line, continuing down the contemporary hybrid road. On the one hand, the impression is of a simple, stylish approach, evident in the models in brushed calfskin with croc print details, or the sneakers in white calfskin with saffiano details; on the other, textures and materials collide to shape a new youthful, resolute, contemporary look packed with energy.
Ranging from the sneakers in camouflage pattern and technical fabric to the models in antiqued calfskin, where the rubber sole invades the upper, sketching out the new frontiers of modern design, the collection also features models in soft kidskin leather and sophisticated brown crocodile leather.
Another newly conceived model is the T Way sneaker in white leather, featuring a screen-printed T pattern and details in matte rubberised calfskin, or in leather and tweed with saffiano and neoprene details.
