Venice, September 1,2019 – Academy Award-winning actress Penélope Cruz brought Conscious Luxury to the red carpet this evening, wearing a bespoke set of Atelier #swarovski Fine Jewelry at the world premiere of her new film Wasp Network in competition at the 76th Venice Film Festival.
The one-off set, designed by Penélope Cruz, features drop earrings inspired by classic Hollywood style. The pieces are made exclusively with #swarovski Created Diamonds totaling set in 18-karat Fairtrade Gold. Two individual pear-cut #swarovski Created Diamonds weigh more than 3 carats each.
Swarovski Created Diamonds are grown in a state-of-the-art lab yet have the same optical, chemical and physical attributes as mined diamonds – both are 100% carbon, both have the same hardness and brilliance.
The Fairtrade Gold is sourced from the Minera Limata Limitada co-operative in Peru. This environmentally responsible mining project provides local alpaca breeders with additional income and promotes the sustainable development of the Limata community.
