Rewoolution, activewear for every kind of challenge
Rewoolution talks to sports professionals, mountain lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, but also to those who desire to live the city in a completely comfortable way: the wish of the actual man that aims to merge himself with the authentic nature has been interpreted through high performance garments and a true respect for the environment.
Rewoolution garments are the expression of a new activewear concept, designed to enhance the most technical and sporting performances, and the daily life as well: over the mountains, through the city or during gym activity, every challenge needs to be lived with style. Each Rewoolution garment testifies a revolution that shows the codes of sportswear fusing with the demand of a daily and fashionable lifestyle.
Traceability and respect for the environment
Rewoolution garments are a product of the Made in Italy tradition and they are designed to support a full immersive experience in nature. Each Rewoolution product is made in full respect for the environment and each step of production is fully traceable: from the farms in New Zealand, where the sheep, whom the wool comes from, to the production plants, where the raw material is processed, all steps are scrupulously monitored.
Rewoolution lines are characterized by a 100% natural texture, biodegradable and high performing, in full compliance of the environment. Each garment is light, antibacterial, avoids every smell and dries immediately. Furthermore, the high breathability of the texture ensures a correct thermoregulation.
Technology and performance
The Rewoolution fabrics are characterized by the exclusive CompAct3 spinning system, developed in the laboratories of Reda Group. Compared to the traditional Merino wool, the CompAct3 technology enhances the natural and unique characteristics of the Merino wool, guaranteeing greater strength, elasticity and softness. Through the CompAct3 technology, the raw material increases its insulating, breathable and thermoregulation power, while the yarn keeps hairless, does not sting, protects from UV rays and prevents the formation of nasty odours, especially during physical activity.
Mission Everest 2019
Rewoolution has supported a team of talents united by passion and determination for an expedition over the highest mountain in the world.
The Eco Ski Adventure 2019 team, composed of Edmond Joyeusaz, Jean-Marie Rossi and Daniele Turani, left to dare the Everest to embark an adventure in the name of eco-sustainability, social commitment and sport.
The mission has visited two of the largest orphanages in Kathmandu, where the feeling of earthquake 2015 is still heavy, offering a little help and support. During the descent, they have been cleaning up the Tibetan Base Camp from waste caused by other touristic expeditions. The Rewoolution garments have accompanied the Eco Ski Adventure 2019 team during the expedition facing extreme climate conditions: up to -40 ° degree, at 9000 meters through the snowstorms.
The Rewoolution Spring Summer collection 2020
For the Spring Summer 2020 season, Rewoolution presents Urban Nomads, the new collection able to adapt to the dynamic scenarios of the metropolis as well as to the natural landscapes to explore. They are designed to face with determination the hectic city life and to challenge themselves in outdoor sporting activities. Each product is made of pure Merino wool and it is high performing without sacrificing design rather style.
Among the key proposals of the collection the cargo pants, a bermuda shorts to match with the over sweatshirts – asymmetrical, with hoods and maxi collars - perfect for an urban style of outdoor inspiration. Formal incursions, but reviewed to guarantee performance and comfort with shirts, overshirt and polo shirts.
Several new fabrics have been used for the collection: the Reda Active® Merino Techno Popeline, the ultra-lightweight shuttle texture that reinterprets the classic poplin used in the shirts, guaranteeing a perfect and lasting success of the garment, as well as a pleasant sensation on the skin. A further novelty is the introduction of the Reda Active® Merino Tela Cargo, the fabric which trousers and Bermuda shorts are made of, also proposed in membraned version, to enrich the windproof and water-repellent quality of the outerwear.
The colour range draws inspiration from the key colours of the urban scene such as the smoky grey and charcoal, with military green and midnight blue forays borrowed from the colours associated with travel and nature frames.
Must have of collection
The theme of the journey is well expressed in the cargo pants, proposed in the summer variant with the detachable pocket and applicable to the t-shirt. Finally, the perfect complement is given by the sweatshirt with openable collar and reflective hood. For the urban-inspired and tailor-made look, is proposed the polo, one of the most representative items of the brand, offered with the detail of the section on the top and with tailored construction on the base-sides. Tailored, but reinterpreted in a modern key for the Tech Tailor Suit, made in the exclusive 100% Reda Active® Merino Punto Roma washable fabric, enriched with technical details such as the snap button closure, the sleeves with wrist straps and the trousers with elastic tricot drawstring.
Outstanding among the outerwear is the classic-cut trench coat, made from 100% Reda Active® Merino Techno Gabardine membraned, for a perfect formal style bus as well modern does not compromise on the performance given by the windproof and water-repellent qualities of the texture.
