A unique handbag made of wool, waxed cotton and vegetable tanned leather. A piece of extraordinary beauty, and profound meaning, which will be complemented with elegant accessories: belts, bracelets, pochettes and key-rings. The capsule collection will be displayed at the ground floor of the Coin mall in Milan.
“NEW LIFE” BRAIDINGS
World is changing, and so is fashion!
It’s called New Life and it goes hand in hand with the key words behind Athison’s new collection: environmental sustainability. It’s an innovative product with a simple name but a very sophisticated core. This unique yarn is made out of recycled plastic from Piedmonte, and it is also the main ingredient of the four color combinations elastic belt designed by the Italian brand, which will be presented at the next SS #mipel edition.
WAITING FOR “INTRECCINCANTIERE”
Manifattura di Domodossola, Athison’s parent company, is keeping on tenterhooks the hundreds of young designers that competed in this fifth edition of Intreccincantiere. The #fashion contest, ran in collaboration with Lineapelle, sees students from all over the Globe, fighting against each other using creativity and the company’s braided materials as their only weapons. The eco-friendly cork coat designed by Sho Konishi, student of the College of #fashion & Beautician Mode Gajuen of Tokyo, and winner of the first edition of the contest will be displayed at Athison’s booth at #mipel.
