For the first time in league history, NBA standouts will wear the iconic Jumpman on their chest during the NBA All-Star Game. Today, #jordanbrand revealed its first-ever NBA All-Star Edition uniforms along with other marquee products at its Future of Flight event in Los Angeles.
JORDAN BRAND NBA ALL-STAR EDITION UNIFORM
The #jordanbrand NBA All-Star Edition uniform blends #jordanbrand style with the latest innovation, adding another element of distinction to this year’s game by utilizing a clean black-and-white color scheme featuring individual team logos and a font inspired by Los Angeles street sign typography. Its elevated aesthetic creates a premium look on and off the court.
Other key design elements include the Jumpman logo, “All-Star Edition” scripted above the size tag and knit tape debossed stars down each side that pay tribute to past All-Star uniforms.
“Jordan Brand has always been fearless when it comes to pushing the boundaries of innovation and style,” said #jordanbrand VP of Design, David Creech. “The #jordanbrand NBA All-Star Edition uniform embodies that attitude with a distinctive look. Our goal was to combine the street-premium Jordan sportswear feel with Los Angeles style for a jersey that looks just as good on the court as off it. We're excited to see this year's NBA All-Stars represent their teams in Jordan style on the biggest, brightest stage."
In addition to unveiling the 2018 #jordanbrand NBA All-Star Edition uniforms, the Future of Flight event highlighted four product priorities for the brand moving forward: Jordan Sportswear, Jordan Women’s, Russell Westbrook’s Why Not Zer0.1 and the Air Jordan game shoe.
JORDAN SPORTSWEAR
During the last three decades, basketball culture has become a constant influence on high-fashion trends. Jordan Sportswear takes iconic footwear and apparel styles and reimagines them for the Future of Flight using modern innovation, premium materials and fits tailored for today.
AIR JORDAN III BLACK CEMENT
Worn by #michaeljordan during the 1988 All-Star Game, the Black Cement Air Jordan III returns in true OG form, including “Nike Air” branding on the heel.
AIR JORDAN III WHITE CEMENT NRG
Michael Jordan pushed the limits of gravity even further when he launched from the free throw line during the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest. To celebrate the 30-year-anniversary of that iconic moment, the White Cement III returns in OG form with the addition of a translucent sole that features a red stripe to represent the exact place where MJ took flight.
AIR JORDAN III TINKER
Surfacing for the first time, Tinker Hatfield’s original Air Jordan III sketch comes to life to celebrate 30 years of the iconic model.
AIR JORDAN III FLYKNIT
Following the success of the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit, the Air Jordan III is the latest model to combine iconic style with one of today’s most innovative footwear materials, #nike Flyknit.
CITY OF FLIGHT COLLECTION
Continuing to build on the black-and-white theme of the Jordan Fall 2017 Jordan Sportswear collection, City of Flight apparel adds a Los Angeles attitude. Highlighted by typography inspired by LA street signs, the City of Flight collection stays true to basketball culture while delivering modern elevated sportswear.
JORDAN WOMEN’S
The Spring 2018 Women’s Collection features three footwear styles crafted to match her versatile lifestyle: The Air Jordan I Hi Zip, Air Jordan I Season of Her and Women’s Air Jordan XII.
WHY NOT ZER0.1
Perhaps the truest physical representation of the intersection between style and #sport, Russell Westbrook adds to his signature catalog with the debut of the Why Not Zer0.1.
AIR JORDAN XXXII
Inspired by the essence of the Air Jordan II, the Air Jordan XXXII is the next phase in the evolution of the iconic signature line.
