AS Roma Away Kit 2017-18
AS ROMA’s new away kit for 2017-18 combines classic styling and an iconic palette of white, yellow and red, with #nike Dri-FIT technology.
The white jersey marries shades of off-white to project a clean contemporary look with heritage detailing and features engineered knit zones on the torso, creating a subtle geometric pattern, with enhanced fit for the athlete in motion.
The upper right-hand side of the chest features a red swoosh, with the club crest featuring on the left. The neckline is bordered with yellow and red. The words “We Are Roma,” expressing the pride and the bond of the team and all its supporters with their city, appear at the base of the neck.
The seam, starting from the collar-bone, emphasizes the silhouette of the shoulders and converges with the vertical stripe running down the side of the kit — the side stripe is yellow on the right and and red left hand side. Expanding when the player is in motion, the stripe maximizes ventilation.
The kit is completed by white socks, incorporating Nike Grip technology, feature “AS Roma” on the front in contrasting red and a red linear graphic on the calf.
The new #asroma away kit will be on sale July 1st on nike.com, asromastore.com and via selected retailers.
COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITYNike leverages sustainable innovation for its football kits through the use of recycled polyester, delivering unrivaled performance and lower environmental impact.
The kit’s shirt and shorts are constructed with recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles melted down to produce a fine yarn.
Each kit is made using approximately 16 recycled plastic bottles. Since 2010, #nike has diverted more than three billion plastic bottles from landfills into recycled polyester, enough to cover about 5,200 football pitches.
