Fabi presents new space and new collection at Pitti

It’s always great to be in Florence for #pittiimmagine Uomo – the showcase chosen by #fabi SPA for many years now on account of its wide international renown. The 91st edition celebrates the playfulness of dance: #fabi will do it through the presentation of its men’s shoes – ultra-stylish but so flexible that you can even dance in them – available in many colours in lace-up leather and college-style versions. There is also a new version of the distressed monk strap model in various shades, with or without fringe, and sneakers with running soles, crocodile skin and antiqued inserts in various combinations and in high and low top versions; a perfect combination of craftsmanship and creativity. The new exhibition space created in partnership with Fontemaggi enhances this fantastic blend of design and tradition. The location is the same: E4 in the Central Pavilion, but the flavour has changed.

For this latest edition, the space is a nice balance between the Old England Heritage atmosphere and its clean-lined walnut veneer décor, the warmth of Italian style with fabric highlights, and a more modern, hightech feel rendered by the flamed black steel floor covering and the sharp split lines of the entrance portal. The extremely contemporary feel of the stand is accentuated by the discerning use of LED spotlighting intended to enhance the refinement of the wares on display, the result of Italian know-how. This same expertise will itself be in attendance – in the form of the company’s master craftsmen, who will be working on the sewing phase of production. Their special customisation and colouring effects are achieved through a vintage finishing treatment, applied by hand directly on the shoe. This is what makes each #fabi shoe a unique and delightful piece. Emanuele #fabi presents the new space and the Fall-Winter Men’s Collection 2017/18 with a cocktail gathering on Wednesday, 11 January at 12 noon. See you there at the Central Pavilion, position E4
