adidas Originals steps out with two clean iterations of its most exciting new silhouette this March, offering a duo of NMD_R1s in essential black & white editions.
Eschewing the shoe’s signature red & blue EVA midsole inserts for a more subtle tonal white, the NMD_R1’s minimalist design has been stripped to an even purer form, stripping the Boost midsole unit of all color and contrast, and rendering the sock-constructed upper in tonal black and white palettes. All of the shoe’s original details and remain intact, such as the molded heel-tab and lace-eyelet overlays, creating the rawest configuration of NMD_R1 to date.
