2STAR - Fall / Winter 2016/2017
At Pitti Uomo, the most important international fair for Men’s clothing and accessories collections which held on 14th January 2016 in Florence, 2STAR presented a collection with vintage character and underground style. Among the special guests at the stand 31, the Guard Room of the Pitti, there were, the most eclectic and innovative chef, Alessandro Borghese and a lot of important bloggers and VIPs, including Filippo Bisciglia and his partner Pamela Camassa, and finally some YouTubers such as Brazo Crew.
The new Fall-Winter '16 / '17 collection adds new materials and colours. The typical metropolitan style of the brand arises again in this collection, defined by the classic, used effect and milling sole for a stone washed look, references to tweed which assumes sophisticated and imaginative shades, with floral motifs, zigzag and scales effects. Rubber or leather sneakers declined in more variations: High, Low, Slipon, and Running which are made with processes entirely Handmade: sewing, milling and hand washing. The funds are in leather or white rubber, the wedge heels endure in the city, leather and fabrics used for the uppers are valuable and precious by accurate machining: ribs, folds, weavings and embroideries with 3D effects that give a touch of elegant sensuality.
Among the models, the classic gym shoes make themselves noticeable, designed for a modern man who is capable of matching sneakers and tie, then a pair of "funky" sneakers dedicated to sporty cool women. Strong tones ranging from red to yellow, to green and blue with metallic notes in order to paint a winter that will perhaps be cold, but not sad. The key word of this collection is “to amalgamate”: rationality and instinct, reality and imagination, comfort and elegance, technical performances and aesthetic style, colours and fabrics. Quality of workmanship, used materials, real unique pieces to show off at any moment.
