Creative director and founder Daiki Suzuki of engineered garments releases special edition Converse One Star collection
Converse and Engineered Garments’ new collaborative line of One Starsneakers plays on Daiki Suzuki’s affinity for reinventing and reengineering classics. The Founder and Creative Director of Engineered Garemnts, Suzuki aims as well to reflect his own personal journey and relationship with #converse.
“When approached with the project to work with #converse the idea came from wanting to tell a bit of the history of the company, first and foremost. Chuck Taylor, for us is a perfect shoe that we weren’t sure we could add or subtract to, its remained almost unchanged all this time. The #onestar or rather the iterations after the “Leather All Star” was a canvas we thought could be mined to create something new,” Suzuki explains.
